1.  Practice Mindfulness

2. Optimise Your Workspace

A cluttered workspace can lead to a cluttered mind. Take the time to organise your desk and digital files so as to enable you to create a serene and distraction free environment. Other measures include using noise cancelling headphones or the Pomodoro technique where you work in intervals of 25 minutes and takes short breaks of 5 to10 minutes to avoid getting distracted and losing focus.

Setting boundaries is essential to avoiding burnout and maintaining focus. Ensure you allocate a separate time for work and personal activities. Encourage open communication with your team about workloads and time frames, and do not hesitate to delegate tasks, if necessary. Learn to say ‘no’ when you do not have the capacity to take on additional tasks, as this will help protect your mental health.
